Dale Calvert's MLM Today 2008

I just bought Dale Calvert's
new ebook - MLM Today 2008...

It has some very good information in it.

It's just $9.00 and has 100% resale rights.

It's a bargain all by itself.

I highly recommend it.

You can read more about it here:

Follow Up

Sad Business Statistics

- 79% of all leads generated at a trade show aren’t followed up.

- Only 3% of our mail is personal…How do you feel when you

walk out to the mail box and see a personal card addressed
to you? Your clients/prospects are no different.

- Average company loses 50% of its customers every 5 years…

Cost of replacing them can be 6-7 times more expensive.

- 5% increase in customer loyalty will yield 20%-80% to our

bottom line profit…Much wiser to spend money on customer
retention than acquisition.

- For every month that we don’t contact or communicate

with our client, we lose 10% of our influence.

- 82% of all homeowners can’t tell you the name of their

Realtor if they bought their home more than two years ago.

- Just saying thank you to our clients, particularly new clients,

even with only a phone call to do nothing more than saying
thank you, (do not try to sell on this call) will increase your
business by 17%.

- 95% of our customers will purchase from a competitor

on an impulse even if you provide a great service.

Dead Downlines Don't Lie

Lead With The Product While
Selling "The Dream"

If the product doesn't make sense,
the business won't either.

Your goal is to develop a

culture of "products first".

This will protect your business
and secure your future because
business has a natural rhythm:

Up and down.

So, you need to anchor to the
strength of your product!

This will stabilize your organization even
when you experience rough waters.

In contrast to MLM, take a look at McDonalds...

With McDonalds, every franchise owner can
potentially be successful, and most are.

McDonalds works because

the fundamental business unit,
the single store, makes a profit...

So, the other stores
(as in, your downline)
are profitable too.

Your typical MLM company is
promoting a sales process
that fundamentally loses money!

Let me explain...

(To be continued...Stay tuned.)

Why People Buy

People buy because of emotions.

They buy want they want,
not what they need.

They are more influenced
by a fear of loss
than a potential for gain.

They buy solutions,
not features.

"Failure"

People may fail many times...

But, they become failures
only when they begin to
blame someone else.

Your Year to Do It!

This is Your Year To Do It!

Not to wish it...

Not to hope it...

Not to want it...

Not to think about it...

But to DO IT.

Some-day is To-Day.

The Good Samaritan

No one would have remembered
the Good Samaritan if he'd only
had good intentions...

He had money as well.

Are YOU a Good Samaritan?

If your sister, brother, daughter,
son, mom or dad called you
today and needed $500...

Would you be able to help them?

If your answer is YES,
God bless you.

If your answer is NO,
call me...

Doing What You Love

There's no lack of opportunity to
make a living at what you love.

There's only a lack of resolve
to make it happen.

Doing what you love is the cornerstone
of having abundance in your life.

If You Find Yourself in a Hole...

If you find yourself in a hole,
the first thing you need to do,
is stop diggin'.

What does this have to do with marketing?

If you've been in a business
for more than 90 days...

And you're not making money,
get out.

Period. End of discussion.

When they talk about a "two to five year plan,"
they're talking about making serious big-time
money in two to five years...

Not about breaking even
or making pocket change.

The definition of insanity is
continuing to do the same thing
and expecting a different result.

Like banging your head
against a wall.

If it don't make dollars,
it don't make sense.

Effectiveness vs Efficiency

Effectiveness is doing things that
get you closer to your goal.

Efficiency is performing a given task
(whether important or not) in the
most economical manner possible.

Being efficient without regard to
effectiveness is the default mode
of the universe.
