I don’t know too many of us who wouldn’t want to sell gold. I mean the idea of making a little extra cash during this economic mess is definitely not something many of us are willing to pass up if the circumstances are right. Unfortunately when it comes to selling your old gold items, it’s hard to know where to start.
Of course it might be obvious to simply take your gold jewellry or coins to a pawnshop, but the problem with that is, you may not get the best deal there. Instead we need to spread our wings and consider other possibilities such as:
=> Jewelry stores, which may offer a decent price for old or broken jewelry
=> Auctions both on and offline where you can set your own price
=> Private gold parties where you can both host and take your gold jewelry for selling
=> Television and website dealers who offer to buy your gold through the mail
=> Newspaper ads where individuals are looking to buy your gold
The above are only a few places where individuals can make a little money from their scrap gold. Please keep in mind however, that not every company is legit.
So before you decide that you want to sell your gold to that particular company or individual, do your research and make copies of everything before that sale is final. Otherwise you may find yourself being taken straight to the cleaners.
